Bio e Storia dei Meshuggah
I Meshuggah sono un gruppo musicale progressive metal svedese formatosi a Umeå nel 1987. La band è nota per il suo stile musicale sperimentale, che incorpora elementi di grindcore, death metal, jazz fusion e musica d’avanguardia.
La formazione originale dei Meshuggah era composta da Jens Kidman (voce), Johan Sjögren (chitarra), Jörgen Lindmark (basso) e Per Sjögren (batteria). Dopo alcuni cambi di formazione, la band si stabilì nella formazione attuale, composta da Kidman, Mårten Hagström (chitarra), Fredrik Thordendal (chitarra, basso) e Tomas Haake (batteria).
I Meshuggah hanno pubblicato dieci album in studio, tra cui “Destroy Erase Improve” (1995), “Chaosphere” (1998), “Nothing” (2002) e “ObZen” (2008). Il loro ultimo album, “Immutable”, è stato pubblicato nel 2022 dopo sei anni di silenzio discografico.
