Bio e Storia dei Dropkick Murphys
I Dropkick Murphys sono un gruppo celtic punk formato a Quincy, Massachusetts, nel 1996. La band è composta da Al Barr (voce), Ken Casey (basso, cori), Matt Kelly (batteria, cori), James Lynch (chitarra, cori) e Jeff DaRosa (chitarra, cori). Si sono formati nel 1996 da Ken Casey, Mike McColgan (ex cantante della band) e Rick Barton. La band ha iniziato a suonare nei locali di Boston e dintorni, e ha rapidamente guadagnato un seguito.
Il successo
I Dropkick Murphys hanno pubblicato il loro album di debutto, Do or Die, nel 1998. L’album è stato un successo di critica e pubblico, e ha contribuito a lanciare la carriera della band. Nel 2001, i Dropkick Murphys hanno pubblicato il loro secondo album, Turn Up That Dial.
