Bio e Storia di Bruce Springsteen
Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen (Long Branch, 23 settembre 1949) è un cantautore e chitarrista statunitense, soprannominato “The Boss”. È considerato uno dei più grandi artisti rock di tutti i tempi e vanta un seguito di culto.
Il suo marchio di fabbrica, sviluppato durante gli ani, sono i concerti di grandissima durata (mediamente intorno alle tre ore e mezza) e le scalette diversificate a ogni data, anche se nell’ultimo tour ha ridotto la durata per non affaticarsi troppo.
Nel 1973: Pubblica il suo album di debutto, “Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.”, cui seguono dischi rimasti tutti nell’immaginario collettivo, come “Born to Run”, “Darkness on the Edge of Town”, “The River”, che contiene la canzone omonima, vero e proprio inno live in tutti i paesi, e “Born in the U.S.A.”, il suo album di maggior successo commerciale.
L’ultimo lavoro in studio è Only the Strong Survive del 2022.
