Bio e Storia dei Bullet For My Valentine
I Bullet for My Valentine sono una band metalcore gallese formatasi nel 1998, inizialmente sotto il nome di “Jeff Killed John”.
La band nasce dalla passione per il metal di Matthew “Matt” Tuck (voce e chitarra), Michael “Padge” Padget (chitarra), Nick Crandle (basso) e Michael Thomas (batteria). Inizialmente suonavano cover di band come Metallica e Nirvana. Nel 2003 cambiano nome in Bullet for My Valentine e firmano un contratto discografico con la Sony BMG. Il bassista Nick Crandle viene sostituito da Jason James (basso e voce).
Il loro stile trae ispirazione da band metal come Metallica, Iron Maiden e Slayer, con influenze punk.
Nel 2015, Jason James lascia la band e viene sostituito da Jamie Mathias (basso). L’ultimo album è l’eponimo “Bullet for My Valentine” (2021). Nel 2021, Matt Tuck annuncia che questo nuovo album rappresenta un nuovo inizio per la band, definendolo “Bullet for My Valentine 2.0”.
