È uscito giovedì 20 giugno, il nuovo singolo degli Imagine Dragons chiamato Birds. In realtà, non si tratta di una novità assoluta poiché il brano in questione è contenuto nella versione deluxe dell’album Origins, pubblicato nel novembre dello scorso anno. Questa nuova versione, però, viene impreziosita dalla voce di Elisa, fortemente voluta dalla band statunitense.

Imagine Dragons ft. Elisa – Birds (Significato)
Birds è un brano che usa il volo di un uccello come metafora per raccontare un amore terminato. La canzone, infatti, narra proprio di una relazione finita, come si intuisce sin dai primi versi del brano: “Tramonti, albe, vivendo il sogno, guardando le foglie. Cambiando le stagioni e alcune notti ti penso,
rivivo il passato. Vorrei fosse durato, desidero e sogno”.
Tuttavia, il brano lancia un forte messaggio positivo: nonostante il momento di dolore e riflessione, la band canta “Love will never die, die, die” ribadendo più volte che l’amore non morirà mai.
