Bio e Storia dei Five Finger Death Punch
I Five Finger Death Punch sono una band heavy metal americana formatasi a Los Angeles, in California, nel 2005. La band è composta da Ivan Moody (voce), Zoltan Bathory (chitarra), Jason Hook (chitarra), Chris Kael (basso) e Jeremy Spencer (batteria).
I Five Finger Death Punch si formarono nel 2005 a Los Angeles, in California, per mano del cantante Ivan Moody e del chitarrista Zoltan Bathory. Bathory in precedenza aveva suonato con la band Motograter, mentre Moody aveva militato nei Ground Zero e negli Escape the Fate.
Nel 2006, i Five Finger Death Punch pubblicarono il loro EP di debutto, “The Way of the Fist”. L’EP attirò l’attenzione dell’etichetta discografica Firm Records, con la quale la band pubblicò il suo album di debutto omonimo nel 2007. Il disco fu un successo commerciale, raggiungendo la posizione numero 25 della Billboard 200.
Con il loro secondo album, “War Is the Answer” (2009), i Five Finger Death Punch si consolidarono come una delle band heavy metal più popolari. L’album raggiunse la posizione numero 4 della Billboard 200, vendendo oltre 250.000 copie nella sua prima settimana.
I Five Finger Death Punch hanno continuato a pubblicare album di successo negli anni successivi, tra cui “American Capitalist” (2011), “The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell” diviso in due volumi (2013), “Got Your Six” (2015), “And Justice for None” (2018) e “F8” (2020). L’ultimo è AfterLife uscito nel 2022.
