Dopo un’esibizione epocale come quella al Coachella 2015 Jack White non avrebbe potuto darci notizia peggiore: l’ex leader dei White Stripes ha infatti confermato ai fan, tramite un lungo messaggio su Facebook, che si ritirerà a tempo indeterminato dalla scena live. After many years of performing in a multitude of configurations, Jack is announcing that he will be taking a break from performing live for a long period of time. To cap off the Lazaretto world tour, and following his pair of headlining performances at Coachella, Jack will embark on a short acoustic tour of the only five states left in the U.S. that he has yet to play. The shows will be entirely acoustic and amplified only with ribbon microphones to the audience as well. Each special acoustic performance will be announced day of show at 8am local time. Tickets for these engagements are priced at $3 per ticket and will be limited to one ticket per person. All tickets will be sold at the venue door starting at 12pm local time on the day of the show – first come, first served and cash only. Per concludere il suo Lazaretto World Tour, Jack si esibirà con alcune altre date dal vivo facendo tappa negli ultimi cinque stati d’America in cui non ha ancora suonato fino a questo momento. Questi show saranno totalmente acustici e amplificati solo con microfoni a nastro. Ogni data verrà annunciata alle otto del mattino, ora locale, dello stesso giorno in cui avrà luogo. Il prezzo dei biglietti sarà di 3 dollari: i biglietti potranno essere venduti solo singolarmente, uno per persona. Ogni biglietto verrà venduto direttamente al locale dove si svolgerà il concerto a partire dalle 12, ora locale, del giorno del live. Prima arrivate, più è probabile che possiate trovare posto.
