Sono passati due anni dal successo di Caro Emerald, cantante olandese che ha raggiunto la notorietà in tutta l’Europa nel 2010 grazie all’album Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor e ai singoli Back It Up, Stuck, A Night like This e Riviera Life, quest’ultima uscita in Italia anche in una versione metà in inglese e metà in italiano in collaborazione con Giuliano Palma.
Dopo un doveroso periodo di pausa, Caro Emerald è tornata da poche settimane in radio con un nuovo brano, Tangled Up, che non si discosta molto dalle sonorità dei suoi precedenti lavori confermando una linea musicale e artistica coerente con le prime produzioni della sua carriera. Il brano è già programmato dalle radio italiane con un discreto airplay e anticipa l’uscita del secondo album dell’artista, The Shocking Miss Emerald, che sarà pubblicato in primavera.
Si avvicina la bella stagione, e con la pubblicazione del suo nuovo lavoro a ridosso dei mesi delle vacanze, Caro Emerald promette di essere una delle protagoniste dell’estate musicale 2013. Ci riuscirà?
