Pochi giorni dopo aver fatto parecchio parlare di sé con la clip di Bound 2, Kanye West ha annunciato, nel corso di un’intervista all’emittente radiofonica 92.3 NOW, il titolo del prossimo singolo tratto da Yeezus: la scelta è ricaduta su Blood on the leaves.
Questa canzone, che campiona Strange Fruit di Nina Simone, è indubbiamente uno dei più bei pezzi del disco (ne avevamo parlato qui) e racconta di un doloroso e squallido matrimonio di facciata.
In attesa della pubblicazione ufficiale del singolo e del relativo video, Kanye West non ha certo perso l’occasione di tirar fuori ancora una volta la sua vis polemica: nella stessa intervista il rapper di Detroit avrebbe infatti chiesto ai suoi fan di boicottare la marca Louis Vuitton, dopo non essere riuscito a ricevere un appuntamento da parte del management del brand.
Non so voi, ma personalmente non mi verrà difficile continuare a non comprare i loro prodotti!
